Our patrons are our top priority, here are the steps we are taking to responsibly host outdoor live music: Social Distanced Lawn Seating Limited social-distanced seating available on the amphitheater lawn. Please sit in a painted circle in groups of up to 6 people. Maximum Capacity of 100 The amphitheater lawn can seat up to 100 people in designated distanced circles. If this space is at capacity, guests will be asked to sit in other socially-distanced seating locations available within our 2-acre space on picnic tables, garden furniture, or along the banks of the lake. Security is onsite to ensure capacity does not exceed 100 guests. Wear A Mask Face coverings are required while entering and exiting restaurants and walking to and from your lawn seating location in accordance with Dallas County regulations.

Please. Inclement Weather Policy: When severe weather conditions exist in close proximity to The Sound, we may choose to delay a performance for an hour or more, before deciding to cancel or proceed. The Sound is an outdoor venue with minimal coverage. Your safety is our priority. If weather conditions dictate, we may have to reschedule an event. Please come prepared should weather conditions change while an event is in progress. Now in it's 4th year, this free St. Patrick’s Day celebration in the Wayne Ferguson Plaza features Irish music, dance, Texas music, beer and an outdoor movie plus amusements for kids including a life-size games. Texas Independence Day is celebrated in March, which is why we celebrate St. Paddy's Texas Style! The 2020 schedule will be released in early 2020.
Food & beer will be sold on-site, and blankets and chairs are encouraged. Well-behaved pets on a leash are welcome. Smoking/vaping is prohibited in Wayne Ferguson Plaza. Free parking is available in City Hall and in public lots in Old Town. A parking map will be added closer to the event.
Wayne Ferguson Plaza features native landscaping, an open lawn, a boardwalk alongside a flowing water feature, a splash pad, and a permanent stage.

On October 18-20, more than 300 musicians will gather from throughout the country outside Midlothian, Texas for a three day retreat to learn Irish Music. Funds raised from this benefit will help offset the cost in bringing to Texas some of the most accomplished traditional players from Ireland and the US to teach. The retreat is produced by the Traditional Irish Music Education Society, a non-profit organization, and enthusiastically supported by the Trinity Hall Restaurant and Pub.
